Will the $5 iPad Stand damage my beloved iPad?
Not very likely. We tested our own iPad in the $5 iPad Stand for days without any damage. If however, you feel the need to slam your iPad in or vigorously grind it in the wooden iPad Stand, you will most likely damage your iPad.

How strong is the $5 iPad Stand?
Quite strong actually. From our facinating disclaimer: “ Of course we tested our own wooden iPad Stand for days, chucking it in bags and taking our iPad in and out. It didn’t hurt our beloved iPad or iPad Stand one bit.

If however, you feel the need to slam your iPad in or vigorously grind it in the wooden iPad Stand, you will most likely damage your iPad. And if you throw the wooden iPad Stand on a hard enough surface, it will break. As our valued customer we know you’ve got plenty common sense not to do so, or to blame us.”

How much is (international) shipping?
We love international orders and we try to keep shipping & handling costs as reasonable as possible. Heck, we would only buy a $5 iPad Stand if shipping was reasonable. This is what we could do for shipping & handling prices:

When will my $5 iPad Stand arrive?
Ai, well, yikes. Hmmm. We’re not an oiled production machine just yet. Simon ‘iPad Grandpa’ Blazer is making all iPad Stands by hand, and it really depends on how many orders we have. We try to ship every week, then it really depends on where you are in the world. So we really can’t give you a good estimate. I think I heard this quote in a movie once: ‘A $5 iPad Stand is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he wants to.’ That doesn’t really help you much, I know, but you must admit it is a pretty good quote.

Can I charge my iPad whilst in the $5 iPad Stand?
Yes you certainly can. Just put the iPad in the horizontal position and done. It is a $5 iPad Stand and not a dock, since you can’t put the usb-dock connector in the iPad when it’s vertical. We don’t really want to make a dock either, it would eliminate the possibility to place the iPad in landscape/horizontal orientation in the $5 iPad Stand. And we think a lot of apps will work great when the iPad is horizontally placed in the $5 iPad Stand.
